Trimethylolpropane (TMP) is a trifunctional alcohol supplied in solid form  Adhesives and Sealants Trimethylolpropane (TMP) is used in the production of adhesive resins such as (polyurethanes polyester polyol and polycarbonate diol). Coatings Trimethylolpropane (TMP) is used as a precursor for the manufacture of resins including alkyds, saturated polyesters and polyurethanes (polyester polyol and polycarbonate diol). Due to its structure, it TMP imparts high UV and chemical resistance
