NPG ( 2,2-dimethylpropane_1,3_diol) Neopentyl glycol is a type of polyol obtained as a result of the reaction of isobutyraldehyde with formaldehyde. Polyester resin is used as raw material. Neopentyl glycol (NPG) is a white crystalline solid, odorless, hygroscopic. Mainly used in the production of unsaturated resin, oil-free alkyd resin, polyurethane foam and elastomer plasticizers, surfactants, insulation materials, printing inks, polymerization inhibitors, synthetic aviation oils oil additives; It is also an excellent solvent for the selective separation of neopentyl glycol aromatic hydrocarbons and cycloalkyl hydrocarbons; Amino baking varnish has good lightfastness and no yellowing. (CAS:126-30-7) It is especially used in the manufacture of paint and coating resin, gelcoat and powder coating.
