Dioctyl phthalate (DOP), (Cas No: 117-81-7) is a clear, colorless, viscous liquid with a slight characteristic odor, especially PVC resin and chemical resin, acetic acid resin, ABS resin, rubber and varnish, paint It is one of the most important plasticizers used for high polymer production in the production of dispersants and dispersants. It is soluble in most ethanol, ether, mineral oil and organic solvents. It is immiscible with water, resistant to hydrolysis and air, oxygen, activity. dioctyl phthalate; (DOP) is a plasticizer obtained as a result of the reaction of phthalic anhydride with 2-ethyl hexanol under TIPT catalysis.
