DINP (DIISONONYL PHTHALATE) is an ester plasticizer obtained from the reaction of phthalic anhydride and isononyl alcohol. USAGE AREAS It is used as a softener in all PVC paste and dough mixtures. It is used in all calendering systems, automotive sector, cable production, artificial leather production, upholstery fabric production, and PVC floor coverings. ADVANTAGES · – Lower viscosity paste can be obtained compared to DOP. · – Since its migration is low, it extends the service life of plastic goods. · – Provides volumetric advantage as its density is lower compared to DOP. · – Enables PVC pastes to be stored at the same viscosity for longer periods. · – Its use is not restricted according to REACH regulation. · – Provides electrical resistance. · – Does not cause any change in the chemical structure of the polymer.
